What is the difference between a Wedding Planner and a Day-Of Coordinator?
A wedding planner is involved in the entire planning process, helping couples with budgeting, vendor selection, design, and logistics—often starting months or even a year in advance. A Day-Of Coordinator steps in closer to the wedding day to finalize details, manage timelines, and ensure everything runs smoothly. While planners help build the wedding from the ground up, coordinators focus on executing your vision seamlessly on the big day!
-
What exactly does a Day-Of Coordinator do?
A Day-Of Wedding Coordinator ensures your wedding day runs seamlessly by managing logistics, overseeing setup, and coordinating with your vendors on the day of your wedding. You handle the planning, and I step in to execute your vision.
I’ll consult on your timeline and floor plan (based on your existing documents), manage your vendors on the day, and handle any last-minute details so you can relax and enjoy your celebration.
-
What is the difference between a Venue Coordinator and a Day-Of Coordinator?
A Venue Coordinator works for the venue and ensures their policies, staff, and logistics run smoothly. Their primary responsibility is overseeing what happens on the venue’s end, such as setup, catering, and venue-specific timelines.
A Day-Of Coordinator, on the other hand, works for you! I focus on managing your wedding day timeline, coordinating with all of your vendors, overseeing décor setup, and handling last-minute issues—so you can relax and enjoy every moment of your big day!
-
How far in advance should I book a Day-Of Coordinator?
I recommend reaching out for Day-Of or Month-Of Coordination once your key vendors are booked — ideally 6 to 12 months before your wedding date, as dates fill up quickly.
For Day-Of Coordination, we’ll connect about a month before your wedding to finalize timelines and details.
For Month-Of Coordination, I’ll begin supporting you about four weeks before your wedding with weekly meetings, vendor communication, and timeline/floor plan creation.
-
How do I secure my wedding date?
To officially book my services:
1️⃣ After our initial meeting, I’ll send you a contract for review and signature.
2️⃣ A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your date.
3️⃣ The remaining balance is due 60 days before your wedding. -
What factors determine your pricing?
My coordination pricing depends on your venue type, guest count, and level of support:

Month-Of Coordination – Add $600 to your chosen Day-Of package for full vendor communication, timeline creation, and extended planning support.
Micro-Weddings – Packages start at $1,200 for celebrations with fewer than 50 guests.
